As Western New York’s only nonprofit newsroom, Investigative Post depends on the financial support of the community to fund our work.
Our annual drive is an important source of revenue for us. We’re down to the final week-and-a-half of our campaign.
Consider donating today to support Western New York’s only news organization dedicated exclusively to producing watchdog journalism.
At a time when our democracy is under threat, and our leaders are less transparent than ever, supporting local journalism has never been more important.

“Keep the great reports coming,” wrote another. “Oh, how Buffalo-Niagara needs you!”
This year, Investigative Post has produced more than 200 pieces of content. Some of our best reporting involved enterprise stories on various aspects of the Bills’ proposed stadium, racism in the Buffalo police department, and costly taxpayer subsidies handed out to corporations, including Amazon.
We’ve included our 10 best stories in an online poll where you can cast your vote for your favorite.
Donate to support our nonprofit newsroom. Contributions of up to $1,000 made by Dec. 31 will be matched.

Contribute at least $500 and you’ll receive a new cartoon drawn exclusively for us by Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Toles. For a $1,000 donation, he’ll autograph it with a personal salutation.
