Organized labor: opportunities and challenges

Western New York is a hotbed of labor activism. It’s where the now-national effort to organize Starbuck’s stores began and currently ground zero to unionize large companies including Tesla and GEICO. Investigative Post Editor Jim Heaney will moderate a speakers panel that will include Peter DeJesus, president of the Western New York AFL-CIO Area Labor Federation; Frederick Kowal, president of United University Professions; and labor attorney Michael Dolce.
