The Sheriff's office and Buffalo police are refusing to provide details about an incident last spring in which Daniel "D.J." Granville sideswiped a number of cars before being whisked away by officers.
Buffalo has been reluctant to sue landlords under its fair housing law, but has taken action on behalf of a woman who says her apartment's condition caused her health problems.
